Infiniti Intelligent Key Battery Replacement

The following instructions will walk through replacing the battery in an Infiniti Intelligent Key FOB.

Tools needed: Small flat head screwdriver and tape. Optionally can use strong fingernails :)

Click for larger	Step 1. Open the Intelligent Key            a. Remove the mechanical key from the Intelligent Key (slide tab and pull up on top of key FOB)            b. Place a piece of tape on the end of a small flathead screwdriver            c. Insert the screwdriver into either of the slots shown in Figure to left            d. Turn the screwdriver until the two cover pieces separate
Step 2. Inspect the inside of the Intelligent Key FOB for damage or corrosion and clean as needed. If key FOB is not working and corrosion is apparent then replacement may be necessary. Only Infiniti can reprogram a new Intelligent Key to your vehicle.
